About the Role

Balto, a pioneering tech startup that has built a suite of AI tools for large sales and customer service teams, is seeking a talented Account Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving new business, managing the full sales cycle, and helping organizations unlock the power of real-time AI guidance. This is a fully remote position, offering you the flexibility to work anywhere in the U.S.

Who We Are Looking For

We're looking for a results-driven sales professional with a passion for technology and AI. The ideal candidate has experience in B2B sales, excels at building relationships with prospects, and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. You should be a strong communicator, a skilled negotiator, and motivated to exceed sales targets while delivering value to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach to closing deals and onboarding customers
  • Conduct compelling product demos that highlight Balto’s AI-driven capabilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospective companies
  • Identify customer pain points and tailor solutions that align with their business goals
  • Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets through strategic selling and account growth
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Marketing and Customer Success, to enhance sales strategies
  • Track and report sales performance, pipeline progress, and customer feedback to inform strategy

Skills and Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of B2B sales experience in a quota-carrying role
  • Exceptional listening, rapport-building, and verbal communication skills
  • A refined, sophisticated, and customer-focused selling style
  • Strong written communication skills across various media, including email, text, presentations, and proposals
  • Ability to apply business acumen to deliver valuable insights to prospects
